Ideally
located among the four CBDs of Dongguan, InterContinental Dongguan is
part of Dongguan International Trade Centre. Based on nature- and
people-oriented strategy, the design team integrates the old and new,
and combines Lingnan style with modern skills, making guests feel
relaxed and delighted upon arriving.
初入昭示面景观，设计师将自明代以来的岭南建筑元素——蚝壳墙，以新的手法演绎，点缀景墙之上。阳光挥洒在白色蚝壳之间留下点点光斑，“菀”如初见般浮现。
At
the entrance stands a landscape wall decorated with oyster shell, which
is a typical architectural element of Lingnan Buildings. White oyster
shells shimmer in the sun, welcoming guests in an elegant gesture.
首层空间提取岭南水岸文化，以水为基底，营造出飘渺的水庭空间。The first floor is designed to be a world of water, which echoes the waterfront culture of Lingnan.
室内设计呈现古雅精巧的岭南文化与现代精致生活交织共鸣的气韵，结合室内功能，户外设计休闲静谧的洽谈空间，在都市繁华之中，独善其身，享受宁静，感受光影的变化。
The
interior space features both the elegance of Lingnan culture and the
exquisiteness of modern life. To complement the interior function, a
negotiation space is created outdoors, which allows people to enjoy
peace and tranquility in light and shadow.
三层露台延续了岭南园林的造景构想，提取了亭、石元素，通过简化线条，现代材质的搭配，构建成现代轻盈，自然放松的休闲庭院。
Inspired
by the pavilion and rocks of Lingnan gardens, the design team employs
simple lines and modern materials, creating a three-storey terrace
garden for relaxation.
以东方文化为轴，提取西方设计精髓，同时融入现代的中式元素以及本土文化气质和国际化文化印记，这是现代与传统的完美结合。
The
design features both the western design skills and modern Chinese
elements as well as the local and international cultures. It’s a perfect
combination of modern and tradition.
